Remove my store
You can remove your email address, or your whole store, from our database. It is free. No reason is asked.
What happens next
- We send a link to the address you gave. It works once, for 7 days.
- The link opens a page with a button. Nothing is done until you click it.
If you remove your email address
- As soon as you click, the address is erased from every store record where it is the contact email. The records stay.
- We do not take it again. Our crawler skips it if it finds it again, and the API no longer returns it.
- We keep only a coded fingerprint of the address, not the address itself. That is how we recognise it.
If you remove your whole store
- As soon as you click, the store disappears from our customers' results. Our crawler stops visiting it.
- 30 days later, its data is erased from the database: we keep only the domain name and the date it was added. This delay lets us undo a removal made by mistake or by abuse. If a backup copy still holds this data, it is deleted within the following month.
- We keep the domain name on an exclusion list, so the store is not added again.
Limits against abuse
- One confirmation email per request every 24 hours. At most 5 emails per mailbox every 24 hours.
- Past 50 stores removed in 24 hours, or 5 for the same requester (the same webmail mailbox, or the same email domain), the request waits for a person on our team to approve it.
