About the ELDB bot

You probably landed here from a User-Agent string in your server logs. This page explains what our crawler does, how it behaves, and how to opt out.

What it does

The ELDB bot powers Ecommerce Leads Database, a business directory of online stores. It performs lightweight technical checks on publicly accessible pages — typically a single request to the homepage to detect which e-commerce platform a site runs on, and occasional re-verification passes. It does not collect personal consumer data, does not fill forms, and does not access anything behind authentication.

How it identifies itself

eldb-enrich/1.0 (+https://ecommerce-leads-database.com/bot)

• • Low request rate — typically 1–3 requests per site, days or weeks apart
• • No parallel hammering of a single host
• • Requests originate from Cloudflare Workers IP ranges

How to opt out

Any of the following works:

• 1. robots.txt — disallow our user-agents and we'll skip your site:

  Disallow: /

• 2. Email us — write to [email protected] with your domain. We add it to our permanent denylist and remove any existing record — usually within 72 hours.

Data removal (GDPR)

Our database contains company-level information collected from public sources. If you want the record about your business corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. We honor every removal request.
